City Park and the Popo Agie River

 We have thoroughly enjoyed our daily walks to City Park.  What an absolutely amazing park it is!  Since having Quincey, I have taken a daily walk with her and was glad to find a new walking path that we love.  It's a little different than Albuquerque because we walk right by the Popo agie river and end at the park before venturing home.  

Quincey loves to ride her bike part of the way.  And she really loves getting in the river.  In fact, she loves getting in the river more than she likes playing on the playground.  

We even got to hit up some of the city park concerts.  

She calls these cotton wood branches her "ticklers" and runs around tickling us.

But Quincey has the most fun when her papa comes to the park with us.  Of course, he is always full of idea, and it is so fun to watch him turn into a big kid.  He loved taking Quincey to the river to catch fish.  This certain time he was serious about it.  He brought a cooler and nets.  They had so much fun catching minnows that I had to return to the river the next day to let go.
