The Most Amazing Photos EVER!!!

So, I have been obsessing over my sister-law Jessica's photography for years now.  I found out that she takes photos of her kids and is really good.  I eventually was able to find her Instagram page and could not believe the quality of her work.  I especially loved her style.  All her pictures have earth tones which is what I love and are not your typical posed photos.  I have been secretly stalking her Instagram page for years now.  So, when she offered to take pictures of Quincey, I was so darn excited!  And they turned out even better than I could have imagined.  I am absolutely obsessed with the photos she took of Quincey.  I will cherish these photos forever.

And, as a cherry on top, she offered to take mommy/daughter photos too.  Quincey was NOT feeling it though.  It was the end of the trip and she had been playing hard for days straight.  She was so exhausted, but Jess worked her magic, and we ended up with some amazing photos!

Chicago Trip

Well, after all these years, we finally made it to Chicago, and I finally met all of Joe's family.  I had been looking forward to the opportunity to see where he grew up and get a glimpse into his life before me since we started dating.  It took a good 7 years, but it was worth the wait.  Quincey absolutely loved being with her cousins Addie and Oliver.  In particular, she couldn't get enough of Addie.  Those two ran around and played for hours.  I could barely get her to stop long enough to eat!

It was super special meeting Joe's father and stepmother.  They showered Quincey with love.  And finally, Joe's twin brother and family.  Uncle Jimmy got Quincey a goofy stuffed animal and, to this day months later, she has to go to bed with her two goofy's.  It was so nice to see a family besides mine love Quincey and it was so nice for me to meet these people that helped shape Joe.

We also got to visit some of Joe's best friends.  Friends that he has had since grade school.  It was such a blast to hang out as a family with Joe's people.

Our trip to Chicago was a trip that I will not soon forget.  It was absolutely amazing.  All except for the horrific mosquito bites I got the first night we were there that plagued me for weeks after.  Apparently, I have what's called Skeeter Syndrome.  My body attracts mosquitos and has an allergic reaction to them which makes me itch like crazy for weeks!  My legs and hands were covered in them.  And they left scars which will serve as a reminder for years to come of our time in Chicago!

The Bus Loop

There is this place right outside of Lander called the bus loop.  I had heard about it numerous times but had never been.  However, my frie...
